Immunotherapy of gastrointestinal cancer with monoclonal antibodies.

摘要: Twenty patients with widespread metastatic colorectal carcinoma were infused 500 mg of the cytotoxic IgG2a monoclonal antibody 17-1A preincubated autologous peripheral blood leukocytes. Ten showed no benefit from such therapy and ten died, a mean survival time 7.6 +/- 4.5 months after treatment median 6 months. In additional patients, course disease was modified by therapy; in five these stabilized, while tumor size other decreased therapy. Median actual this group is presently 24 months; four died progression within 15 5 Duration response 10.5 6.7 treatment. Treatment tolerance for 20 excellent all but one patient, who experienced an anaphylactic reaction during second infusion 17-1A.
