摘要: The management of infection after total knee arthroplasty depends on the chronicity infection, host factors, and sensitivity infecting bacteria. Two-stage salvage consisting removal implants cement, placement an antibiotic spacer, appropriate intravenous therapy followed by reimplantation with antibiotic-impregnated cement appears to be predominant approach managing this complication. use articulated spacers sterilized femoral polyethylene components allows maintenance motion bone stock. This report details author's experience 44 infected arthroplasties.
