摘要: Endothelins are peptides, originally isolated from endothelial cells, with potent vasoactive and mitogenic properties. In this study, we demonstrate that human macrophages synthesize secrete endothelins. Cultured were found by immunocytochemistry to stain positively for endothelin 1 3. Their capability produce release these peptides was confirmed a combination of reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography radioimmunoassays, specific 3, respectively. Immunoreactive identified both in cellular extracts macrophage-conditioned medium. The secretion 1, but not could be stimulated 6-10-fold lipopolysaccharide or phorbol myristate acetate (PMA).
