摘要: Abstract Background To initially assess the impact of perioperative blood transfusions (PBTs) on overall survival patients underwent curative resection Ⅰ–Ⅲ TNM stage gastric cancer (GC) using propensity scoring method. Methods The medical records 1150 GC who in Tianjin Cancer Hospital between 2003 and 2008 were retrospectively analyzed. Both transfusion nontransfusion assessed prognostic differences after surgery score analysis. Results A total 299 (26.0%) administrated PBT. With unadjusted analysis, with PBT presented older age, more operative loss, lower hemoglobin, albumin level, higher risk advanced disease. 5-y rate for was 31.0%, which significantly than that (47.9%) without (P 0.05). In addition, we also found not associated increasing mortality (hazard ratio, 1.054; P = 0.628). Conclusions could give rise to worse prognoses patients.
