摘要: The interaction of antitumor antibiotic, echinomycin (Echi) with guanine (Gua) was thoroughly investigated by adsorptive transfer stripping cyclic voltammetry, ultraviolet and visible adsorption spectra (UV/Vis) Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Electrochemistry provided a simple tool for verifying the occurrence between Echi Gua. could be accumulated from solution give well-defined electrochemical signals in 0.1 M phosphate buffer (pH 7.0) only when Gua present on surface electrochemically pretreated glass carbon electrode (GCE), suggesting strong binding to All acquired spectral data showed that new adduct formed, two pairs adjacent intermolecular hydrogen bonds Ala backbone atoms (Ala-NH Gua-N3 Gua-NH2 Ala-CO) played dominating role interaction. coupled techniques provide relatively easy way obtain useful insights into molecular mechanism drug-DNA interactions, which should important development anticancer drugs specific base recognition.
