摘要: We present a report on the potential use of Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) technique for direct investigation Mg corrosion and related optimization table-top LIBS system. Moreover, preliminary study to prove capability this estimation grade is given. In order simulate real corrosive environment, samples were prepared in constant climate chamber. show that layer sample surface significantly affects properties laser–matter interactions, i.e. among other parameters causing matrix effect. Consequently, persistence laser-induced plasmas (LIPs) their composition, generated such degraded surfaces, essentially differ. Collected radiation LIP then analysed ratios ionic atomic spectral lines are correlated with magnesium corrosion, content Mg(OH)2 surface. The also plasma temperature as well electron number density LIP. Additionally, X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis optical profilometry utilized obtain more comprehensive information about degradation high purity samples.
