摘要: Estrous synchrony was tested using 10 pairs of sibling female rats (Rattus norvegicus). A Monte Carlo bootstrap simulation used to construct random control groups avoid previous statistical errors and test for significance when there are irregular cycles. The females did not exhibit estrous synchrony. effect cycle irregularity on the limits analyzed an equation that related degree regularity This significantly predicted synchrony: both maximum minimum can occur between two females. Finally, simulations expected levels in five were compared original study indicated results consistent with chance It is concluded no evidence Norway synchronize their Evolutionary implications discussed.
