摘要: Studies comparing the abundance of frugivorous bats in shade-coffee plantations and forest fragments report contradictory results, have not taken into account landscape context which coffee are immersed. Variables population composition such as abundance, sex proportion, reproductive condition, together with biological tags (i.e., bat fly prevalence), can provide information about spatiotemporal dynamics habitats used by bats. In central part Veracruz, Mexico, we compared variables ectoparasite prevalence highland yellow-shouldered (Sturnira ludovici) two landscapes, one dominated another fragments. Comparing these attributes between landscapes will increase our knowledge role this agro-ecosystem conservation species, is an important seed disperser cloud vegetation. Total proportion females was greater than plantations, whereas percentage similar landscapes. Our results show that harbor greatest S. ludovici, but also utilized ludovici likely adjacent remnants enough food resources for species other frugivores. Moreover, study provides more evidence documenting importance preserving last region suggests using to connect may be effective way maintaining populations volant
