摘要: To the Editor: We read with great interest recent article by Chen et al1 dealing relationship between pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) and stroke. The study demonstrated that women age 18 to 60 years PID were more likely have ischemic strokes than control population in a 3-year follow-up period based on nationwide population-based database. In addition, patients develop comorbidities such as coronary heart disease, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, endometriosis those comparison cohort. This has given us some novel insight into prognosis of PID, where not only infertility ectopic pregnancy may occur, but metabolic disorders, stroke also be part outcome. PID, …
