摘要: Acyl carrier protein (ACP) is a key component of the fatty acid biosynthetic machinery in plants. A 1.4 kb 5' flanking region Brassica napus ACP gene (ACP05) was transcriptionally fused to reporter beta-glucuronidase (GUS), and expression chimeric monitored transgenic tobacco. GUS activity found increase through seed development reaching maximum value, coincident with most active phase storage lipid synthesis that was, on average, 100-fold higher than observed leaf. In control plants transformed CaMV 35S-GUS constructs, similar leaf all stages development. Based average values, level obtained via promoter comparable from 35S promoter. We therefore conclude isolated sequence represents strong element involved developmental regulation B. tissue.
