摘要: In the present study, we have employed a battery of colloidal gold-tagged lectins as probes in conjunction with quantitative analysis to demonstrate distribution and changes carbohydrate residues hamster zona pellucida (ZP) during ovarian follicular development transit oocyte through oviduct after ovulation. High-resolution lectin-gold cytochemistry performed on thin sections LR White-embedded ovaries revealed moderate strong reactivity WGA, PNA, DSA, AAA, MAA over entire thickness ZP oocytes at different stages development. Labeling intensity progressively increased follicles matured ovary. parallel, there was an association labeling by gold particles cortical granules, stacks Golgi saccules, complex structures called vesicular aggregates proper especially late growth. contrary, each HPA, DBA, BSAIB(4) absent ovary but found be localized complexes secretory granules non-ciliated cells oviduct. When ovulated were labeled RCA-I, BSAIB(4), MAA, several organelles presented differential lectin-binding sites. Quantitative also that bind specifically mature oocytes. evaluation heterogeneous between inner outer zone ZP. A significant increase densities both noted when tissue RCA-I or AAA. Tissue WGA demonstrated density layer however, showed decrease portions Together, these results suggest hamster, glycoproteins carrying specific sugar are added early folliculogenesis processed common machinery, is change moieties following Our plays important role contributing certain suggesting oviductal may functional significance fertilization.
