摘要: Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection has historically been a major complication among immunocompromised patients, such as solid-organ and stem-cell transplant recipients patients with advanced HIV infection. While the introduction of antiretroviral therapy almost eradicated CMV in HIV-infected disease remains significant problem once antiviral prophylaxis is discontinued. QuantiFERON®-CMV allows assessment cellular immunity against by detecting production IFN-γ following vitro stimulation antigens.
