摘要: Abstract Purpose Evaluate the shear bond strength of a self-etching system to enamel pretreated with ozone and its type fracture. Matherial methods Thirty sound bovine incisors were bisected polished just before application adhesive system. The adhesion area was limited 3-mm diameter. specimens randomly assigned experimental groups ( n = 15) composite resin cylinders added tested surfaces, after according manufacturer's instructions. Group G1 (AdheSE ® ozone) previously prepared gas from HealOzone unit (Kavo ) for 20 s, G2 used as control. stored in distilled water 24 h at 37 °C 100% humidity, being thermocycled. fracture analyzed under scanning electronic microscope data submitted Shapiro–Wilk, Student's t -test Chi-squared statistical analyses. Results mean strengths G1: 15.0 MPa (77.8% fractures between adhesive) G2: 13.1 MPa (36.4% adhesive). Conclusion not influenced by previous gas.
