摘要: Clinically, there is a group of patients with elevated pulmonary arterial pressure in whom the underlying cause not apparent. The wedge elevated. For such cases, designation primary hypertension may be made clinically. From clinical categorization hypertension, three distinct pathologic entities emerge, namely 1) plexogenic arteriopathy, 2) recurrent thromboembolism, and 3) veno-occlusive disease. type characterized initially by vasoconstriction medial hypertrophy. Secondary proliferative intimal lesions, including plexiform lesion, develop. Recurrent thromboembolism presence thrombi varying ages involving microscopic-sized arteries. Thrombi embolic nature or develop situ. Pulmonary disease obstructive lesions veins venules. presentation types so similar that definitive diagnosis depends upon histologic examination lung from tissue obtained either biopsy at necropsy.
