摘要: The objective of this research was to estimate the components variance and heritability relating reducing sugars content dry matter, their correlations with some agronomic traits potato (Solanum tuberosum L.). Forty clones randomly chosen by EmbrapaCentro de Pesquisa Agropecuaria Clima Temperado Breeding Program were used. field experiments carried out in fall spring 1996, Pelotas, RS, Brazil. Sugar matter analyzed after storing tubers cold chamber (5±1oC). Genetic variances moderate, error high, providing relatively low values for both traits. sugar positively significantly correlated most negatively content. between not significant.
