摘要: Vascular endothelial dysfunction and inflammatory response are early events during initiation progression of atherosclerosis. In vitro studies have described that CIT markedly upregulates expressions ICAM-1 VCAM-1 cells, which result from NF-κB activation induced by CIT. order to determine whether it plays a role in atherogenesis vivo, we conducted the study investigate effects on atherosclerotic plaque development apolipoprotein E deficient (apoE-/-) mice. Five-week-old apoE-/- mice were fed high-fat diets treated with for 15 weeks, followed assay lesions. Nitric oxide (NO), vascular growth factor (VEGF) endothelin-1 (ET-1) detected serum. Levels intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1), cell (VCAM-1), VEGF, ET-1 areas artery walls examined. p65 expression aorta also assessed. treatment significantly augmented plaques increased ICAM-1, VCAM-1, VEGF aorta. Mechanistic showed was elevated treatment, indicating effect atherosclerosis may be regulated NF-κB.
