摘要: In this paper we describe an application level Mobility Management mechanism for IP networks, called UPMT (Universal Per-Application management using Tunnels). The is able to provide Vertical Handovers over heterogeneous based access networks on a per-application basis, i.e. it possible independently route different applications and take separate handover decisions each application. support legacy applications, does not require any from the nor change TCP/IP stacks in Mobile Hosts (MH), run NATed that private addresses MH fully transparent Correspondent Hosts. relies tunneling packets Anchor Node IP/UDP tunnels. with "virtual" NAT service across many physical network. specification of architecture mobility signaling, SIP protocol. Open Source implementation Linux OS ongoing its status presented.
