摘要: Fractal geometry and nonlinear dynamics have applications in the field of biology medicine. Many complex structures living systems reveal fractal-like geometry. Among them, nonlinearity human anatomic structures and physiologic functions are special interest. Here, we review several multidisciplinary studies that demonstrate multi-scale complexity physiological fractal anatomical structures a healthy human including retina. With ageing diseases, these entities become simpler or more complex. Pathologic conditions contribute to highly periodic processes dominates on time scale. Nonlinear dynamics application ophthalmology physiology visual system can be promoted by flickering background its impact retina cortex electrical activity.
