摘要: In Italy, the consumption of raw or slightly cooked mussels represents most important risk factor for transmission hepatitis A virus (HAV). Although there exist effective methods bacterial depuration contaminated mussels, these are poorly on enteric viruses. The objective present study was to evaluate effectiveness a closed-circuit system that uses both ozone and UV light disinfecting water allows salinity temperature, parameters metabolism (Mytilus galloprovincialis), be maintained at constant levels. results showed this method decreased viral load (from 1.72 log 50% tissue culture infective dose [TClD 50 ] ml -1 <1 TCID within 24 h from 3.82 48 h). However, in cases, after 120 depuration, residual amount capable replicating cells detected. These show even if performed with advanced systems, may not guarantee absence virus.
