摘要: To provide the best available evidence-based care to their patients, advanced practitioners (APs) must become proficient in genomic competencies and remain informed regarding availability of pharmacogenomic tests. Databases, such as Centers for Disease Control Prevention's "Genomic Testing," guidance about testing, but many APs are not aware these resources. This study employed a quasi-experimental pretest/posttest design using convenience sample large clinical outpatient breast cancer clinic assess knowledge base, beliefs, attitudes, barriers testing among front-line increase through targeted educational intervention. The objectives intervention were (1) indication testing; (2) collaboration interprofessional team; (3) identify correctly when plan should be modified based on test results optimize patient outcomes. Responses showed that oncology possess strong foundation genetics support addition new tests practice.
