摘要: Abstract Background Kidney transplantation is the therapy of choice for a patient with end-stage renal disease. Although number patients disease in constant increase, total transplants stays almost same. Methods This gap between wait-listed and limited donations has forced transplant centers to consider kidneys normally refused transplantation. so-called expended criteria or marginal donors includes suboptimal quality grafts from cadaver, non–heart-beating donors, living elderly; hypertensive, diabetic, nephrolithic, obese patients; history malignancy, potential transmissible infections cysts. Results The most common problems use are delayed graft function failure short- long-term after There many contradictory reports literature on results expanded kidney transplantations. review aims summarize positive negative outcomes commonly used types transplantation, mostly focusing recent literature. Conclusions We conclude that when both and/or donor accepting nephropathy well-informed risks taken, can be better certain
