摘要: Abstract Objectives Limited research has been conducted to investigate the characteristics of money boys (MBs) in China. This study was aimed identify subgroups MBs based on sexual behaviors, Net-based venue sex-seeking, and substance abuse. Study design Cross-sectional study. Methods Convenience sampling used recruit from December 2014 June 2015 Tianjin, Face-to-face interviews were for 330 MBs, trained interviewers collected data. Results The laboratory-confirmed human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)–positive rate 11.52% among 330 MBs. Four classes identified through latent class analysis (LCA) method: ‘relatively safe behavior’ group, ‘higher risk’ ‘multiple sexual-partners’ ‘unprotected sex abuse’ there is a significant difference HIV status. Significant differences found original residence, monthly income, duration trade, employment, history sexually transmitted infection (STI), testing, knowledge free antiviral treatment policy, awareness AIDS testing between four (P Conclusions utility LCA risky behaviors attributes formulating targeted intervention strategy.
