摘要: Abstract To examine and compare the epidemiological molecular characteristics of HIV infection between money boys (MBs) general men who have sex with (MSM) in Shanghai, China. Using a venue-based sampling strategy, total 535 MSM including 226 MBs 309 were recruited to participate cross-sectional survey face-to-face questionnaire interview testing. Genotyping HIV-1 pol gene was performed for HIV-positive participants. Compared MSM, reported more sexual partners, alcohol drug use after or use. prevalence 10.7% overall, 14.6% 7.8% (p = 0.011). Two independent multiple logistic regression analyses indicated that positively associated non-Han ethnicity (Odds Ratio [OR] = 4.79, 95% Confidence Interval [CI]: 1.08–21.28) past 6 months (OR = 3.59, CI: 1.50–8.61) among MBs, (OR = 3.38, 1.10–10.34) as well. successfully amplified sequenced 52 (91.2%) Of them, 53.8% genotyped CRF01_AE, 36.5% CRF07_BC 9.6% subtype B. CRF01_AE subtype-infected participants (3.8%), 50 years old MB 24 years harbored viruses M46L mutation conferring resistance protease inhibitors (PI). particularly China at high risk infection, underscoring an urgent need joint intervention efforts behaviors. surveillance is also warranted although relatively low implies effectiveness current antiretroviral treatment regimen.
