摘要: Double K-shell photoionization of Ne at 5000 eV was observed by recording the KK-KLL Auger-electron hypersatellite spectrum. The measured Auger spectrum is compared with results multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock calculations. Shake calculations are used to identify likely multivacancy states produced photoexcitation or ionization in addition double-K vacancies, and their calculated spectra relative intensities diagram lines combined experimental theoretical determinations branching ratios from single- vacancies into final determine ratio double-to-single cross sections be 0.32(4)%. This much larger than high-energy-limit indicates a large contribution dynamic electron correlation.
