摘要: Publisher Summary To locate the epileptic focus in patients with partial seizures, method most used is analysis of interictal and ictal electroencephalography (EEG) activity together seizure semiology structural functional neuroradiology. Current sources brain can be located from EEG recordings using surface electrodes. The scalp-skull-brain (SSB) I dipole tracing (DT) was to estimate location epileptiform spike two undergoing preoperative evaluation for epilepsy surgery. individual conductivities each subject were calculated by electrical stimulation electrodes SSB head model these conductivities. same potentials recorded simultaneously intracranial subdural strip In recordings, estimated B l DT a single layer shape excluding scalp skull. results showed an overlap between subjects combination measurement conductivity skull B/DT method. difference explained conditions, body temperature, sweating, bone thickness. determined represents real foci source generator.
