摘要: Abstract By column chromatography on the cation exchange resin Dowex 50, peroxidase activity extracted from green and etiolated “Alaska” pea seedlings was resolved into two major components C1 C3, minor N C2. On cellulose acetate electrophoresis at pH 7.5 C moved toward cathode stationary. The peroxidases C3 differed significantly in k 1 4 ratio relative o-dianisidine guaiacol. C2 were absent root, leaf lamina apical bud; found throughout plant. distribution patterns suggest that may be confined to active or potentially photosynthetic tissue, vascular system. indole-3-acetic acid oxidase/peroxidase of tenfold higher than C1.
