Accuracy of methods estimating calcium and phosphorus intake in daily diets.

摘要: Three different methods of estimating calcium and phosphorus content were compared with the chemical analysis 20 daily diets taken from general hospital cafeteria menus, individual food records, menus designed for research. Comparisons analyses estimated values showed an insignificant trend toward underestimation content; all significantly underestimated content. On average, estimates deviated actual by approximately 250 mg/day.
