Psychometric properties of the Spanish version of the UPPS-P Impulsive Behavior Scale: A Rasch rating scale analysis and confirmatory factor analysis.

摘要: The present study was aimed at determining the psychometric properties of Spanish version UPPS-P Impulsive Behavior Scale in a sample college students. Participants were 318 students (36.2% men; mean age = 20.9 years, SD 6.4 years). this analyzed using Rasch model, and factor structure examined confirmatory analysis. verification global fit data showed adequate indexes for persons items. reliability estimates high both items persons. Differential item functioning across gender found 23 items, which likely reflects known differences impulsivity levels between men women. replicates previous work with original Scale. Overall, results suggest that test scores from show to accurately assess multidimensional model impulsivity, represents most exhaustive measure construct.
