摘要: We study the performance of reliable and unreliable all-node broadcast over ad-hoc networks that use contention-based channel access. To obtain analytical results while preserving hidden-terminal node clustering characteristics networks, we introduce a novel differential-equation fluid model for information flow through network cluster trees, where spanning tree joins groups fully connected nodes. Through numerical analysis simulations in GloMoSim, show throughput, goodput, loss rates networks. For broadcast, also find NAK rates, retransmission rates. using end-to-end sequence numbers, which are common multicast, generation creates substantial unnecessary traffic.
