摘要: Triploid Heteropneustes fossilis (Bloch) showed sterility and higher growth potential than the normal diploid fish. Activities of some metabolic enzymes such as cytosolic NADP-malate dehydrogenase (NADP-MDH), mitochondrial NAD-malate (NAD-MDH) glutamate pyruvate transaminase (GPT) were evaluated in liver, brain kidney along with glucose-6-phosphate (G-6-P D) ovary female triploid catfish. these distinct seasonal periodicity, mostly highest activities prespawning spawning periods, both catfish but differed magnitude. In GPT activity counterpart periods. On contrary, NAD-MDH NADP-MDH this organ a consistent lower all stages or reproductive cycle respectively. Interestingly, none significant changes comparison to counterpart. The maintained significantly level G-6-P D throughout resting, preparatory pre-spawning periods compared ovary. Lower malic (NAD-MDH NADP-MDH) liver are close synchrony estradiol-17β plasma triploids found earlier study.
