Use of the Beck Depression Inventory-II with Adolescent Psychiatric Outpatients

摘要: To provide information on the use of Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II) with adolescents, BDI-II was administered to 105 male and female outpatients between 12 18 years old who were seeking psychiatric treatment. The internal consistency high (coefficient α = .92). mean total score girls approximately 5 points higher than that boys (p < .001), age (years) positively correlated scores (r .18, p .01). An iterated principal-factor analysis identified three factors, but only Cognitive Somatic-Affective factors generalizable.
