摘要: Data on dental caries status and treatment needs among Nigerians were obtained for planning purposes. Details of male female subjects all ages from model urban rural local governments in each state a quota sample about 100 was selected government area (N = 4692). collected using WHO criteria. Chi-square test used to analyze differences between frequencies. Results different states pooled together according their Primary Health Care (PHC) classification. Percentage DT showed significant (P < 0.01) variation zones, although the rural/urban not consistent reported 12 15 year olds. Mean DMFT respective 0.7, 1.3 2.5. The level restorative care (FT/DMFT) very low, being 1.5, 1.6 1.2 percent ages. Percent MT/DMFT increased with age. Extrapolating estimates, 7.3 22.9 million projected need extraction conservative respectively. There is develop an oral health system that includes screening population treating those care.
