摘要: Electron microscopic observation was made on microfold cells (M cells) in the covering epithelium of lymphoid follicle (dome epithelium) intestine. Materials consisted ten human appendices, five those were inflamed and obtained from children with acute appendicitis. The remainder not macroscopically, there one Peyer’s patch for control. results indicate that appendix, elevated surface type M named by protruding apical cytoplasm to lumen more conspicuous than depressed type. latter shorter irregular microvilli neighboring cells, present dominantly patch. enfolded lymphocytes stumpy slim whole shape. appendix showed their swelling like a balloon microfolds disappearing, seemed vulnerable inflammation. It is considered cell structure changes only accordance uptake antigenic materials, but also according organ which are whether inflammation or not.
