摘要: Enteropathy-associated T-cell Lymphoma (EATL) is a rare form of aggressive lymphoma. It more prevalent in men over 60 years and the prognosis very poor. EATL classified into two groups based on morphology, immunohistochemistry, genetic profile. type I highly associated with celiac disease common Western countries. II predominates Asia, where uncommon. We report case 78-year-old previously healthy white male who presented 2-month history diarrhea, weight loss edema. The abdomen was distended painful, tumor mass palpable hypogastrium. Laboratory tests showed hypoalbuminemia. Serological for HIV, viral hepatitis HTLV-1 were negative. chest radiography pneumoperitoneum, an exploratory laparotomy revealed perforation small bowel. An advanced stage (Ann Arbor IV B/Lugano IIE2B) diagnosed. Four cycles chemotherapy interspersed several complications (anthracycline-induced cardiotoxicity, chemotherapy-induced neutropenic fever severe sepsis). Performance status progressively worsened he died 6 months after diagnosis. This illustrative primary intestinal To best our knowledge, this first Brazil.
