摘要: Abstract The distribution and morphology of the retinal ganglion cells was studied in a relative rabbit, Afghan pika. total number approximately 170 000. optic nerve fibers between 160 000 190 000, corresponding to cells. Retinal were found have horizontal region high-density. maximum density 5250 cells/mm2. This located central retina below disc. area contained numerous closely packed small cells, while peripheral (especially dorsal periphery) large more loosely dispersed. labeled by horseradish peroxidase (HRP) morphologically classified into three types based on dendritic length ramification pattern.
