摘要: Proton NMR spectroscopic investigations on the lipid extract of serum 41 Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) (age, mean ± SD; 8.0 ± 3.0 years) patients and 22 healthy subjects 9.0 ± 4.0 were performed in northern Indian population. The concentration triglycerides, phospholipids, free cholesterol, cholesterol esters total was significantly higher DMD as compared to subjects. Ratio free-cholesterol cholesterol-esters also patients. Among individual lipids, phospholipids found be consistently subjects, with a discriminatory index 87.5%. highest 92% along ratio PL (phospholipids) CHOL (cholesterol), i.e. PL/CHOL. No significant quantitative difference observed constituents positive negative gene deletion cases DMD. inferences drawn from this study may provide possibility diagnostic importance for DMD, especially where genetic analysis fails diagnosis.
