摘要: An important issue associated with employing vector quantization (VQ) for image coding is that of reliability regarding the actual performance in presence channel noise. This paper presents a novel, approach to addressing such issues. The novelty proposed it renders much better reconstruction quality greatly reduced complexity, comparing existing schemes. takes advantages spatial contiguity property images, instead treating transmitted data as general information like many other joint source-channel schemes do. >
