摘要: The objective of this paper was to investigate the in vitro effects fusidic acid combined with fosfomycin against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). In all, 196 MRSA strains isolated from three clinical specimens human infections hospitals China were used study. checkerboard method determine whether combinations act synergistically these strains. susceptibility results for and interpreted according guidelines Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute. combination demonstrated following interactions: 87.76% (172/196) synergism, 12.24% (24/196) indifference no antagonism seen (minimum maximum fractional inhibitory concentration index 0.14 0.75, respectively). Thus, show synergism most isolates tested study, may be a future therapeutic alternative caused by MRSA.
