摘要: The highly acidic water-soluble protein, S100 (Moore 1965) is a group of closely related proteins which, when purified, appear as non-covalent dimers with subunit composition αα (S100αα), αβ (S1000a) and ββ (S100b). amino acid sequences the α (93 residues) (91 are homologous, 54 identical residues 23 replacements compatible single nucleotide base substitution (Isobe Okuyama 1978, 1981). Immuno-histochemical well biochemical studies demonstrated ubiquitous nature protein (Suzuki et al. 1982; Hidaka 1983; Molin 1984, 1985; Kato 1983) differences in distribution β subunits brain peripheral tissues now clearly established 1984; 1985). However, reason for heterogeneity still unclear. intracellular location generally admitted, although some also showed that cells secrete (Ishikawa 1987, Shashowa 1984). In tissue, membrane-bound form was characterized (Haglid 1974; Donato 1975).
