摘要: Heavy-ion irradiation systems were designed and constructed at two cyclotron facilities in Japan for use various fields of radiation physics biology. A 135 MeV/u carbon beam as well 12 helium-3 beams first used experiments. We have established a systematic method heavy-ion dosimetry both high low incident energies involving measurements fluences. also obtained differential W values (w) air those by comparing the results fluence measurement with ionization chamber dosimetry. The found to be 36.2 +/- 1.0, 34.5 33.7 0.9 eV 6.7 ions, 10.3 3He 129.4 respectively. w value high-energy heavy ions approaches electron or photon beams. In beam, we track-size effect. difference track sizes gas solid phases affected output current ion case ions.
