摘要: The applicability of carbon nanotube (CNT) to slow sand filtration for the removal bacteria was studied using scanning electron microscope and column experiments. morphology CNT were investigated looked like a skein serving favorable site adhesion. Column experiments performed over range filter depth, pH, ionic strength. Bacteria efficiency found increase from 44.15% 99.95% as depth increased 1 cm 5 cm, 3 required significant bacteria. pH 5.5 8.5 decreased efficiency, due electrostatic repulsion between at higher pH. 97.25% 70.90% strength 0 mM 50 mM. This study demonstrated that can be applied treating microbially contaminated water.
