摘要: Adsorption equilibrium and kinetics of Bacillus subtilis spores on single-walled carbon nanotube aggregates were investigated to explore the possibility using nanotubes for concentration, detection removal pathogens from contaminated water sources. Batch adsorption experiments conducted determine B. aggregates, activated NanoCeram™. The data analyzed with both Lagergren pseudo first order a second models. three porous media quantified by Henry's law constant. It was observed that rate model correlate kinetic well although calculated constants vary adsorbate concentrations. constant is about 27–37 times higher than those high affinity towards due mesoporous structure unique surface properties nanotubes. These results suggest are good candidates as biosensors adsorbent concentrating, detecting resources.
