摘要: 1. Introduction ADAPTATIONS to our environment are of two types: reactive, in which the adaptation follows an environmental change, and predictive, organism anticipates change before it takes place. We live organized day night, seasons, tides alternate. These events repeat themselves with a given frequency, organisms living on earth successfully adapt them predictive fashion. The overt expression these adaptations cyclic changes physiological processes known as circadian, tidal, seasonal rhythms.
