摘要: Sturge-Weber syndrome is associated with leptomeningeal angioma, trigeminal port-wine stain, epilepsy, and glaucoma. Clinically, many patients are observed to have both seizures headaches, but this has never been described in the literature. A questionnaire was mailed 190 reported comorbid epilepsy headache as identified by Foundation. Sixty-eight surveys were returned anonymously; 55 headaches. The median age at onset 8 years, a of three headaches per month. Fifty-eight percent felt that an equal or greater problem. Ibuprofen acetaminophen most frequently tried abortive medications; 22% had sumatriptan. Only neurologist suggesting use anticonvulsant preventive agent. Subjects family history earlier (7.5 vs 11 years; P = .02), those more likely report behavior problems (69% 33%; .02). reporting learning hemiparesis seizure onset.
