Green supply chains: Efforts and potential applications for the Turkish market

摘要: Abstract This study aims to explore the suitability and significance of waste management as first step creating green supply chains in general, an extension this exploration we address following research questions: (1) What should be starting point both for individual companies becoming green? Can it management? (2) is level environmental consciousness firms how possible assess potential participation if a system was implemented their chains? (3) Which sector would most appropriate implementing policy terms attracting attention other sectors customers simultaneously? (4) are dynamics interdependency interaction within upstream downstream partners chain consciousness? In discussing issues, importance mentioned “attracting attention” underlies consciousness. Addressing issue requires general understanding current situation Turkish market place, then extending able evaluate more effectively help consumers gain at same time. Based on literature personal experience, decided select electrical electronic equipment (EEE) research. The focus group method selected collect opinions managers from EEE Izmir. two sessions. Results showed that implementation could provide good introducing chains, serve model consumers, sector's products directly affect electricity consumption. Also, propose conceptual regarding key contribution analysis between members chain, adopting environmentally aware attitude. these visualized with proposed model.
