摘要: Nursing informatics; Safety; Quality; Errors; Summary As part of ongoing research to investigate the impact patient characteristics, organization characteristics and unit on safety quality outcomes, we used a computational modeling program, OrgAhead, model care units’ achievement (medication errors falls) outcomes. We tuned OrgAhead using data collected from 32 units in 12 hospitals Arizona. Validation studies demonstrated acceptable levels correspondence between actual virtual units. In this paper, report how develop testable hypotheses about kinds innovations that nurse managers might realistically implement their improve Our focus was unit-level are likely be easier for implement. For all but highest performing (for which encountered ceiling effect), were able generate practical strategies improved performance could implemented by Nurse have responded enthusiastically additional decision support improvement.
