摘要: Abstract Primary Acinic Cell Carcinoma (ACC) is an uncommon salivary gland (SG) tumor, making up 1% of all SG neoplasms. The parotid the most common topography, and ACCs are more frequently diagnosed in fourth to sixth decades life. In this study, along with a brief review literature, we discussed clinical, histopathological, prognostic features these tumors through three reported cases. All occurred left non-smoking non-drinking white patients, aging 80, 51, 56 years. lesions were painless presented as slow-growing, large, firm, movable solitary masses mandible angle. patients initially submitted radiographic computed tomography exam, followed by fine-needle aspiration excisional biopsy confirm diagnosis. treated surgery radiotherapy. Two had local recurrence, one which cervical lymph node involvement, but both still alive. other patient did not have recurrence or developed distant pulmonary metastases died. follow-up times 18, 102 e 22 (with death) months. Upon histopathological analysis, ACC typically shows solid pattern growth, cells exhibiting serous acinar cell differentiation cytoplasmic basophilic granules. Complete surgical resection usual therapeutic choice. literature describes tumor low malignant potential, several recurrences metastasis been reported, verified present study.
