摘要: Expression of the nm23 gene has been correlated with a variety cellular mechanisms including tumor metastasis (Steeg et al. 1988; Nakayama 1992, 1993), neoplastic development (Zynick normal and differentiation (Dearolf Biggs 1988, Wallet 1990; Yamashiro 1994), proliferation (Keim 1992; Ohneda cell motility (Kantor 1993). All nm 23 genes encode metabolic enzyme nucleoside diphosphate kinase (NDPK), whose principal known function is to provide triphosphate precursors for DNA RNA synthesis. It proposed that NM23/NDPK proteins contain additional biochemical activities, neither developmental Drosophila NM23/Awd protein (Biggs Lascu 1992), or suppression effect human NM23 (Sastre Garau Steeg 1993) correlates directly NDPK levels its activity.
