摘要: Positive developmental impact of low stress-induced glucocorticoid levels in early development has been recognized for a long time, while possible involvement mineralocorticoids the stress response during perinatal period neglected. The present study aimed at verifying hypothesis that balance between and mineralocorticoid is changing postnatal development. Hormone responses to two different stressors (insulin-induced hypoglycaemia immune challenge induced by bacterial lipopolysaccharid) measured 10-day-old rats were compared those adults. In pups corticosterone both significantly lower than adults, which corresponded well with hyporesponsive period. Importantly, elevations aldosterone concentration higher adulthood comparable adrenocorticotropin concentrations age groups. Greater importance glucocorticoids further supported changes gene expression protein gluco- (GR) receptors (MR) selected enzymes quantitative PCR immunohystochemistry hypothalamus, hippocampus, prefrontal cortex, liver kidney. Gene 11beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase 2 (11β-HSD2), an enzyme enabling preferential effects on receptors, was adult animals. On contrary, GR, MR 11β-HSD1 decreased. Presented results clearly show release adults strongly suggest greater
