摘要: The Presage® ST2 Assay (Critical Diagnostics, CA, USA) is an in vitro diagnostic device that quantitatively measures soluble suppression of tumorigenicity 2 (sST2) serum and plasma by ELISA. This assay US FDA approved indicated to be used conjunction with clinical evaluation as aid assessing the prognosis patients diagnosed chronic heart failure. sST2 binds IL-33 functions a ‘decoy’ receptor for IL-33, thereby attenuating systemic effects IL-33. Due role IL-33/transmembrane isoform signaling cardiac remodeling, has emerged novel cardiovascular biomarker. In recent studies, it was shown valuable predictor several end points failure, acute coronary syndromes critically ill patients. this review, analytical considerations applications Presage will discussed, well probable future concepts adoption measurements into c...
